Hellen and her granddaughter, Charlene – 12 year old, spent a couple of days in Hacienda Zuleta, in the northern Andes of Ecuador and one of the most beautiful areas of our mountains. As they were hiking in the mountains they met with a homeless dog, who followed them the whole path, and Charlene, of course, felt in love with the dog and immediately adopted him and named Zuleto.

He stayed at the farm until they left, and further was send to USA within the next days!! Now, Charlene and her grandma have a lovely Zuleteno dog that has created a deep connection with the Ecuadorean Andes. Hellen has returned to Ecuador, while Zuleto is taking intense English classes and adapting to the comfort and relaxed life in his new American home!
